Carel Snyman is the Team Lead of our Energy Matters group. He has dedicated most of his professional life to realising sustainable energy solutions for Africa.
Carel's 30+ years' experience in the renewable energy industry includes:
- Director of Eskom's Electric Transport Programme
- General Manager of the SANEDI Cleaner Mobility Programme
- Chair of the Electric Vehicle Industry Association of South Africa and Electric Vehicle Association Infrastructure Alliance
- Director of the Low Carbon Transport Project for the United Nations International Development Organisation (UNIDO)
- Manager of Advanced Energy Technologies for Eskom Technologies
